Ca' Alexander was simply SUPERB! It's actually one of our favorite
places we stayed in Italy. The privately owned apartment by this family
was absolutely warm and friendly. The place was immaculate! We did not
expect a private apartment that sits on the top floor with a fabulous
view of Venice from the terrace. Every morning they delivered fresh
baked bread to our apartment for breakfast. They were accommodating our
entire stay. The apartment is situated on Via Garibaldi which was a
beautiful area. Walking distance to everything. Restaurants, shops,
market, post office, banks. It's also just 3 stops away from San Marco
square by vaporetto (boat bus). At night, it's a lively place to be in!
Ca' Alexander hosts were terrific. They even had a gondola business. We
were given a private tour and the gondola ride was quite priceless to my
mother, sister and I. We highly recommend th is place to stay. We cannot
thank Alessandro, Nadia, Sabrina and Fabio for our lovely stay. Grazie. |
