On the estate it is possible to find the most characteristic of Tuscan scenery: olive groves and vineyards surround our villas and apartments and it is also possible to enjoy magnificent walks in the ancient oak and holm oak woods leading down to the lake where roe deer and fallow deer love to linger. If one walks into the floor of the valley there are creeks and small waterfalls formed by the streams that feed into the property. Inside the estate there are three separate villas, five self-contained apartments and the possibility of stopping in six junior suites which are located in the main villa and are all facing onto the courtyard of the former convent. In the main villa, a former convent dating from the twelfth century, there is a breakfast room where pre-booked breakfasts are served, based on milk, coffee, cappuccino, fruit juice, cheese and sliced cold meats, brioches, pastries and other cakes. If the guests prefer, breakfast can also be served directly to their room, where they can enjoy perfect privacy.

La
Tenuta Sant’Ilario ha un’estensione di 62 ettari e si trova nel Comune
di Gambassi Terme sulle colline del Chianti fiorentino, vicino alle più
importanti città d’arte quali Firenze, San Gimignano, Siena e Volterra.
Nella tenuta si possono incontrare i più caratteristici paesaggi
toscani; oliveti e vigneti circondano le nostre ville e appartamenti e
si può godere altresì di magnifiche passeggiate nei boschi di querce e
lecci secolari fino a raggiungere il lago dove i caprioli e daini amano
soffermarsi. Passeggiando fino ad arrivare a fondovalle si incontrano
insenature e piccole cascate formate dai torrenti che lambiscono la
proprietà. All’interno della proprietà vi sono tre ville indipendenti,
cinque appartamenti terra-tetto e la possibilità di soggiornare in sei
fra camere e junior suite, localizzate queste ultime, all’interno della
villa principale e tutte affacciate nella corte dell’ex convento. Nella
villa principale, un ex convento che risale al XII secolo, vi è la sala
delle colazioni, dove su prenotazione può essere servita la prima
colazione a base di latte, caffè, cappuccino, succhi di frutta, formaggi
e affettati freschi, brioches, torte e quant’altro. Se gli ospiti lo
gradiscono, la colazione può essere servita direttamente alla loro
abitazione gustandola in perfetta privacy.
The Sant’Ilario estate covers 62 hectares and is situated in the
Gambassi Terme district in the hills of the Chianti Fiorentino, near to
all the most important cities of art and culture, such as Florence, San
Gimignano, Siena and Volterra.
