A poca distanza sulle vicine colline sorgono altri borghi medioevali e sono facilmente raggiungibili Pisa. Lucca, Volterra, San Gimignano. Firenze ed il Chianti. Tutto questo non è comunque sufficiente a descrivere "Il Gattero" ma si può solo apprezzare soggiornandovi..... Se il panorama, il ritorno alla natura sono cose importanti, altrettanto lo è la qualità dell'accoglienza: i nostri appartamenti infatti, nelle loro diverse tipologie, possono ospitare da 2 a 6 persone.Sono confortevoli, arredati secondo la vecchia tradizione toscana con mobili antichi, ciascuno con riscaldamento autonomo, bagno con doccia, ampia arredata cucina. Sono stati ristrutturati rispettando il tradizionale stile della locale architettura, mantenendo per gli appartamenti a piano terra le antiche mangiatoie ed i soffitti a volta, mentre quelli al primo piano soffitti con travi di legno. Inoltre, a Vostra disposizione una grande stanza comune a piano terra, ideale per le Vostre cene in compagnia, e al primo piano un delizioso salotto con camino ed angolo lettura. All'esterno per i Vostri momenti all'aperto tavoli ricavati da macine di frantoio,parco giochi per bambini,pista di bocce e ping-pong. Il paesaggio è un invito per le Vostre escursione di trekking e mountain bike, che potete noleggiare sul posto. Il Gattero è situato su un esteso podere con vista sulle colline volterrane e sul lago di 8 ettari, dove è possibile praticare la pesca sportiva " portandovi il relativo materiale ". Nella zona, nell'arco di pochi Km. : golf, tennis, maneggio, calcetto ed un aereoclub per il deltaplano ed il volo da turismo.
Pisa, Lucca, Volterra, San Gimignano, Florence and the Chianti region are also easily reachable. The farm house i located on an extensive farm with swimming pool and overlooks the hills of Volterra and an 8 hectares lake where fishing for sport can be enjoyed.... All this however is still not enough to describe "Il Gattero" appropriately, you can only appreciate it by staying there..... Together with the landscape and the love for nature we do care for the quality of our lodging, in fact our apartments in their varied forms can house form 2 to 6 guests and offer the best possible welcome. They are confortably furnished with antiques and each has indipendent heating, a bath with shower and a large equipped kitchen. The apartments have been renovated, respecting the traditional style of local architecture. On the first floor the ceilings have wooden beams and the apartments on the ground -floor maintain the ancient manager and vault ceilings. At your disposal, moreover. a big common room ideal for family's dinner and on the first floor a sitting room with fire place and a place and a reaing-corner. Outside, for your time spent outdoors, tables made from stone oil-press, and a park for the children. The enchanting countryside is inviting for hiking and mountain bike excursions. Bicycles can be rented on the spot. Il Gattero is located on an extensive farm overlooks the hills of Volterra and an 8 hectares lake where fishing for sport can be enjoyed. You can find your free time:swimming-pool, ping-pong, pool, oil and wine tasting. Within a radius of 5 Km. : golf, delta wing-aircraft, tennis,football, riding horse.
Es ist ein idealer Ausgangpunkt, um das "Herz" der Toskana zu besichtigen. Auf den näheren Hügeln liegen andere mittelalterliche Ortschaften wie Pisa, Lucca, Volterra, San Gimignano, Florenz und Chianti, die schnell zu erreichen sind. All dies reicht nicht aus, um „Il Gattero" zu beschreiben. Man kann „Il Gattero" nur schätzen, wenn man sich dort befindet ............ Sind das Panorama und die Rückkehr zur Natur sehr wichtig, so ist die Qualität des Empfangs von gleicher Bedeutung: Unsere Wohnungen, in ihren verschiedenen Typologien, können 2 bis 6 Personen aufnehmen. Sie sind komfortabel und entsprechend der toskanischen Tradition mit altertümlichen Möbeln eingerichtet, jede mit einer wohnungseigenen Heizung, Bad mit Dusche und einer großen, voll eingerichteten Küche. Die Wohnungen sind in dem traditionellen Stil der örtlichen Architektur renoviert worden. Im Erdgeschoss sind daher die alten Futterkrippen und die gewölbten Decken erhalten geblieben, während für die Wohnungen im ersten Stock die Holzbaltendecken erhalten wurden. Zu Ihrer Verfügung stehen außerdem ein großes Zimmer im Erdgeschoss, ideal für Ihr Abendessen und ein reizendes Wohnzimmer mit Kamin. Im ersten Stock gibt es eine Lektüreecke. Das Bauernhaus befindet sich auf einem weitläufigen Landgut mit Schwimmbad, Blick auf die Hügel von Volterra und auf den See mit einer Größe von 8 Hektar, in welchem Sie angeln können. Bitte bringen Sie hierfür Ihre Angelausrüstung mit. Für Ihre Aufenthalt im Freien finden Sie Tische, hergestellt aus Mühlen von Ölpressen, sowie Tischtennistische, eine Boccia-Anlage und einen Spielplatz für Kinder. Die Landschaft stellt eine einzige Einladung für Trekking-Ausflüge und Ausflüge mit Mountain-Bikes dar, die hier auch ausgeliehen werden können. In der Nähe gibt es weitere Möglichkeiten zur Freizeitgestaltung: Golf, Tennis, Reiten, Wein- und Ölverkostungen und einen Club für Drachen- und Tourismusflüge.

Situato
sulle colline in mezzo a prati e campi, dista 9 Km. da Peccioli, un
piccolo paese vecchio di secoli, ricco di negozi e ristoranti. In zona
di assoluta quiete e deliziosa tranquillità è un punto ideale di
partenza per visitare il "cuore" della Toscana. 
It is situated on hills among meadows and fields at about 9 Km. form
Peccioli, a small centuries old town that abounds in shops and
restaurants. In a deglightfully peaceful and queit area, it's an ideal
starting-point to visit the heart of "Tuscany". Other medieval villages
stand on the nearby hills.
Auf den Hügeln, inmitten von Wiesen und Feldern, befindet sich ein
kleines jahrhundertealtes Dorf voll von Läden und Restaurants. Es ist
nur 9 km von Peccioli entfernt und befindet sich in einem Gebiet voller
entzückender Landschaften und absoluter Ruhe.
