Questa è la nostra isola, dei nostri padri e nonni, siamo cresciuti in essa e con essa e vi sapremo suggerire, tutte le più coplete indicazioni per conoscere a fondo la montagna con i suoi boschi e la riserva naturale, i posti e le gite più significative anche alle altre isole ognuna con le sue peculiarità. E se vi piacciono le escursioni, il nostro catamarano a vela potrà farvi integrare il contatto con l'arcipelago nel suo insieme e con il mare nei suoi anfratti irrangiungibili altrimenti.
All of the island's uniqueness has been captured in our quiet, family-run hotel. And there are other comforts as well: Sicilian dishes prepared the way our grandmothers and grandfathers once taught us; air-conditioned rooms for those hot nights when the Sirocco (the southern winds from northern Africa) blow in from across the sea; a swimming pool surrounded by lemon trees for a midnight dip or an afternoon splash (just to mention a few). And for those of you looking for adventure or the chance to explore, the hotel provides detailed information on hikes up the island's extinct volcano Monte Fossa delle Felci, including nature guides that offer insight into the island's many flora and fauna. A trip around the island on our catamaran sailboat brings you to places that are otherwise inaccessible on foot: grottos, small lagoons and remote beaches. Excursions to other islands, which each have a special charm of their own, can also be organized.
