La
Voliera è il giusto compromesso per chi desidera risparmiare quello che
spenderebbe al centro storico ma vuole questo a portata di mano
soggiornando in una zona limitrofa ed ottimamente collegata.
Dietro Via Marconi, poco distanti dalla Stazione Trastevere, il Bed&Breakfast
La Voliera
è in una bellissima zona residenziale servita da un supermercato aperto
fino alle 22, vicina ad ottimi ristoranti ed al famoso mercato
domenicale romano di Porta Portese. E' sufficiente un solo
collegamento, i bus 780 o 781 per arrivare nel pieno centro storico (
Piazza Venezia,Fori Imperiali Colosseo...). Dalla stazione si può
facilmente raggiungere S. Pietro, il centro storico, e l'aeroporto di
Fiumicino.
UN PO’ DI STORIA
La via Portuense
può dirsi la madre delle strade di Roma, e fu costruita alla fine del I
secolo D.C., per collegare la città all'attuale poto di Fiumicino e di
Ostia. Si trova nel XV Municipio chiamato Arvalia-Portuense a ricordo
dell'antichissimo collegio sacerdotale dei Frates Arvales istituito da
Romolo, il fondatore di Roma.

La Voliera
è composta da B&B ed
un Appartamento per vacanza all'interno dello stesso stabile.
Tutte le nostre camere
sono silenziose e luminose, dotate di bagno privato, connessione
internet wireless, tv ed aria condizionata. Tutte, purtroppo eccetto
una, hanno l’ accesso allo splendido terrazzo della galleria fotografica
e la possibilità di utilizzare
la cucina.
Disponiamo inoltre su richiesta di parcheggio in garage.
A La Voliera
privilegiamo la forma di ospitalità con il massimo dell’indipendenza:
infatti verranno messe a disposizione dei nostri ospiti le chiavi di
casa; in questo modo non sarete vincolati da nessun orario e non siete
costretti a passare per una reception ogni volta che entrate ed uscite.
La colazione è self-service e così organizzata : vengono messe a
disposizione, al momento dell'arrivo,le provviste per la prima
colazione (biscotti, corn-flakes, merendine, fette biscottate, burro,
marmellata, succo di frutta, latte, tè, caffè), per tutto il periodo del
soggiorno;
Così da rendervi liberi di farla a l’ ora che desiderate

-Pagamento in contanti al check-in.
-Se si ha l'esigenza del posto auto avvisate il B&B almeno due giorni
prima dell'arrivo previsto.
-E' fondamentale comunicare l'ora del check-in almeno due giorni
prima del vostro arrivo . Questo per evitare spiacevoli attese in quanto
non siamo sempre a casa.
-Non accettiamo arrivi dopo le 24.00
COME RAGGIUNGERCI CON I
MEZZI PUBBLICI
-1)Dalla
Stazione Termini
A)Prendere
il treno fino alla Stazione Trastevere. Da qui prendere il bus 780 fino
alla fermata dove Via Oderisi da Gubbio incrocia Via Grimaldi. La
Voliera è a 5 minuti di cammino da qui: dalla fermata proseguite nello
stesso verso di percorrenza girando alla prima a destra per una discesa,
Via del Pozzo di San Pantaleo; arrivando in fondo si arriva sulla Via
Portuense; qui girate a sinistra passando prima sotto il ponte dove
sopra passano le auto, poi proseguendo passate sotto un secondo ponte,
ferroviario e più vecchio. Superato questo la prima strada a sinistra
che fa angolo con il Blockbuster è Via Giuseppe Belluzzo. Salite su fino
al civico 27. Citofonate ed aspettate la nostra risposta anche se
trovate il cancello aperto.
Oppure dalla stazione Trastevere si può proseguire direttamente a piedi
per circa 20 minuti: fuori dal piazzale della Stazione si scende per Via
degli Orti di Cesare. Arrivati in fondo girate a destra passando sotto
il ponte della Stazione Trastevere. Appena uscite da sotto il ponte
prima che inizi Via Volpato girate subito alla prima strada a destra che
è Via Portuense: non vi potete sbagliare perché lì c’è il Commissariato
di polizia. Proseguite su Via Portuense finchè si allarga a due corsie.
Andate sempre dritti e passerete prima sotto il ponte dove sopra passano
le auto ed incrociando Via del Pozzo di San Pantaleo, poi proseguendo
passate sotto un secondo ponte, ferroviario e più vecchio. Superato
questo la prima strada a sinistra che fa angolo con il Blockbuster è Via
Giuseppe Belluzzo. Salite su fino al civico 27. Citofonate ed aspettate
la nostra risposta anche se trovate il cancello aperto.
B)In
alternativa dalla Stazione Termini potete prendere il bus 170 e scendere
sulla Via Marconi prima che incroci Via Grimaldi. Da qui potete
proseguire a piedi fino a La Voliera per circa 10 minuti: girate da Via
Marconi alla prima strada a destra, appunto Via Grimaldi; la proseguite
tutta sul lato destro fino alla fine attraversando l’incrocio con Via
Oderisi da Gubbio; una volta attraversata la strada , tenendo sempre la
destra, scendete giù per una discesetta , Via del Pozzo di San Pantaleo,
e che fa angolo con RUBEI, un negozio di moto. Arrivando in fondo alla
discesa si arriva sulla Via Portuense; qui girate a sinistra passando
prima sotto il ponte dove sopra passano le auto, poi proseguendo passate
sotto un secondo ponte, ferroviario e più vecchio. Superato questo la
prima strada a sinistra che fa angolo con il Blockbuster è Via Giuseppe
Belluzzo. Salite su fino al civico 27. Citofonate ed aspettate la nostra
risposta anche se trovate il cancello aperto.

Prendere il treno fino alla Stazione Trastevere. Da qui seguite le
stesse indicazioni del paragrafo

Da Ciampino Areoporto
E' necessario prima prendere il Pullman fino alla Stazione Termini. Da
qui seguite le stesse indicazioni del paragrafo

disposizione, su richiesta, il servizio di prenotazione del pick up
dagli Aeroporti di Roma. Costo:
40,00 a corsa.
COME RAGGIUNGERCI IN
AUTO
A)Per
chi viene da Firenze dalla A1
uscire a Roma Nord e poi prendere il G.R.A. (Grande Raccordo
Anulare) direzione Fiumicino/Civitavecchia. Una volta sul G.R.A. uscire
sulla Roma/Fiumicino direzione Roma; da qui prendere la svolta per
Magliana/Trastevere e poi seguire l’indicazione per Piazzale della
Radio; quindi girare a sinistra appena indica “Via Isacco Newton” e
salite su una rampa tenendovi sempre sulla destra. Imboccata Via Isacco
Newton prendete la svolta per Via Portuense -Centro ed una volta su Via
Portuense andate sempre dritti; superate Largo La Loggia continuando
sulla Portuense. Quando la strada diventa in discesa dopo un po’ sulla
destra trovate Via di Vigna Pia con l’indicazione per il Ristorante
la Carovana.
Girate qui e subito alla prima a sinistra per Via Ettore Paladini;
la fate tutta fino alla fine e la strada che incrociate è Via Belluzzo;
noi siamo al 27 subito sulla sinistra girando a destra da Via Paladini.
Qualsiasi difficoltà non esitate a chiamarmi. E comunque non entrate nel
viale del residence prima che io scenda perché i posti auto sono privati
e vi devo indicare qual è il vostro.
B)Per
chi viene da Napoli comunque uscire sul G.R.A. verso Fiumicino e
prendere la Roma/Fiumicino direzione Roma. Da qui le indicazioni sono le
stesse del paragrafo
A).
Comunque è sempre importante che vi stampiate e portate con voi una
copia della mappa pubblicata sul sito.

except for one have access to the fabulous balcony in the photo gallery
and the use of a kitchen. Upon request, we offer also the garage
service.We privilege the “maximal independence” hospitality: our guests
will have the keys of their apartments, so that you will not have any
time-table restrictions or being forced pass thru a reception every time
you get in or out; our breakfast is self service: at the moment of
arrival you will have every thing you need for your stay here (biscuits,
corn-flakes, butter, jam, fruit juice, milk, tea, coffee) and, again, no
time-table restrictions.IMPORTANT INFORMATIONS It's essential you
communicate to us the time of your check-in at least two days of your
arrival; otherwise you could not meet anybody opening the door because

a)Catch the train for Trastevere station. From here
catch 780 bus and go to the intersection of Via Oderisi Da Gubbio and
Via Grimaldi.

Via Di San Pantaleo; at the end of the street there is Via Portuense;
here turn left and pass under the two bridges (the one for cars and the

Blockbuster on the corner) is Via Giuseppe Belluzzo. Go up to number 27.

Trastevere station it is also possible to get here by walking, it
takes about twenty minutes: out of the station square go down thru Via
degli orti di Cesare. At the end of the street turn right passing under
trastevere station’s bridge. After the bridge, before Via Volpato
starts, turn right to Via Portuense: you can’t miss it because there’s
the police station. Go along Via Portuense until it becomes a two lane
road. Go straight and pass under the two bridges (the one for cars and
the old one for trains). Then turn left onto the first street (there is
Blockbuster on the corner): Via Giuseppe Belluzzo. Go up to number 27.

CARa)From
Firenze highway A1 exit to Roma Nord and then
go to G.R.A. (grande raccordo anulare) in the Fiumicino/Civitavecchia
direction. Once you are on the G.R.A. exit to Roma/Fiumicino towards
Rome; from here turn towards
Magliana/Trastevere and follow the direction for Piazzale della Radio;
then turn left towards Via Isacco Newton and go up a ramp keeping the
right. Once on Via Isacco Newton, turn towards Via Portuense/centro and
once you get to Via portuense go straight on, cross Largo La Loggia and
when the street descends keep to the right and turn right to Via di
vigna pia (there is a direction for the restraurant “La
Carovana”). Then turn immediately left to Via Ettore Palladini, go
straight, and at the end of the street there is Via Belluzzo. Turn right
and we are on the left, at number 27. If you have any problems feel free
to call me. Please do not enter your car inside the residence before I
come down, because it is a private parking and I have to show you which
one is for you.b)From
