un piccolo borgo alle porte di Firenze, sulla collina di Settignano
patria di Desiderio
(1430-1464) raffinatissimo scultore fiorentino, sorge la cinquecentesca
villa Viviani che ospito', alla fine dell'ottocento lo scrittore
americano Mark Twain.
Il B&B Desiderio e' parte di
una villa situata nelle sue immediate vicinanze, circondata da
un grande giardino, e immersa
nella tranquillita'. E' tuttavia possibile raggiungere Firenze con un
autobus di linea urbana che, in circa 20 minuti, vi condurrà nel centro

The B&B Desiderio is part of a

located on the hill of Settignano, where the famous sculptor
Desiderio (1430-1464) was born. Next to our house, stands the 16th
century Villa Viviani where the writer
Mark Twain lived for some time at the end 19th century.
Although the site is extremely quiet, it is possible to reach Florence
in a rather short time by car or by bus: at less than 5 minutes walk
from the house there is a stop of a city bus that can take you dawntown
in about 20 minutes. The B&B Desiderio
offers you a large and nicely furnished
room with garden, private bath and kitchenette where you may
prepare your breakfast with all ingredient provided by the house.

Desiderio(1430 -1464), raffiné
