L'OSTELLO AIG CITTA' MURATA
L’Ostello si trova
in via Circonvallazione nord e si affaccia direttamente sulle mura
medievali, a pochi passi dalle porte d’accesso in città: Porta Legnago e
Porta Vicenza. Accoglie i suoi ospiti sia in stanze di varia metratura e
tipologia: dalla stanza doppia alla camera con 6 posti letto. Servizi,
sala comune e ampia zona esterna completamente circondato da un giardino
privato recintato per rilassarsi all’ombra degli alberi o per ammirare,
d’estate, al tramonto la suggestiva cinta muraria. Inoltre ampia zona
attrezzata per i camper, parcheggio per auto e zona riservata al
parcheggio di pullman. Nello stesso contesto, e per venir incontro ad
esigenze più specifiche, offriamo soggiorni in mini-appartamenti dotati
di 1 stanza doppia, servizi autonomi, entrata con cucina e sala da
pranzo. Ottima soluzione per piccoli gruppi o famiglie con bambini che
vogliono godere dei privilegi di una proposta completamente autonoma.
L’OSTELLO “ROCCA DEGLI ALBERI”
L’Ostello “Rocca
degli Alberi”, unico nel suo genere, offre ai visitatori un balzo nel
passato. Medievale di costruzione, fortezza militare per nascita, venne
adibita ad Ostello a partire dal 1963. Dopo un intervento di manutenzione
e restauro, mirato a salvaguardare l’aspetto della Rocca dal punto di
vista artistico e monumentale, i viaggiatori che scelgono di soggiornarvi
prendono posto in quelli che un tempo furono gli alloggi di arcieri,
alabardieri e sentinelle della Rocca stessa. Emozionare è la nostra parola
d’ordine. Vivere, anche se solo per un breve periodo, una pagina della
storia passata del nostro territorio. Le stanze sono distribuite nella
Torre e nel Mastio, dalla stanza doppia alla camera con 6 posti letto,
dominanti la zona più caratteristica delle mura . La luce naturale filtra,
in alcune stanze, attraverso strette feritoie, conferendo un’atmosfera
ancora più suggestiva. Fu costruita per volontà della famiglia Carraresi
come fortezza militare, come difesa alla città. Nel suo interno non
conserva dipinti o affreschi, ma la sua mole le conferisce solidità e
sicurezza. Durante lo scorrere dei secoli, infatti, più volte tentarono di
espugnarla ma senza successo. La Rocca è visitabile, tutto l’anno,
dall’androne alla terrazza che domina tutta la città a 360°C; come Ostello
a partire da metà Aprile ad Ottobre.
Le nostre strutture ricettive offrono ospitalità soprattutto a gruppi
anche fino a 70 persone nel periodo estivo, mentre fino a 50 nel periodo
invernale.
AIG YOUTH HOSTEL “CITTA’ MURATA”
The
Youth Hostel is in Via Circonvallazione nord just in front of the
northern side of the walled circle, only at a few steps from the
entrance gates of the town: the one called “Porta Legnago” and the
second one called “Porta Vicenza”. The building has different rooms for
its customers, depending on type and size: double rooms but even dorm
rooms with bunk-beds (no more than 6). There are toilets for men and for
women, shared area and the outside green belt completely surrounded by a
fence for relaxing moments under the trees or to admire the walled town
at the sunset. The Youth Hostel also has a wide equipped area for camper
parking, a private parking for cars and a specific area for bus parking.
At the same time, to satisfy different needs and wishes, we offer our
customers to hostelling inside some mini – apartments which have a
private entrance, a double room, a private toilets, and a small kitchen
with cooking facilities. This is a perfect solution for small groups of
tourists or for families with children who can choose an indipendent way
of having their holidays.
HOSTEL “ROCCA DEGLI ALBERI”
The hostel Rocca degli Alberi, a rare structure, offers to visitors a
leap in the past. In 1362 it was built as military fortress and it
became an hostel only during the ‘60s. After a restoration, to keep its
original aspect according with its aristical and historical shape, the
turists and travellers who choose to stay in this particular place, will
sleep and rest exactly where in the past archers, halberdiers, and
guards had theyr accomodation. “Amaze” is our watchword. Live even if
just for a short period of time, a page of The Middle Ages The rooms are
inside the Tower, dominating the walled city, double rooms but also
dorms with bunk-beds. Narrow windows let the sun come in and the
atmosphere is unique. The fortress has been commissioned by the
Carrara’s Family, Lord of Padova and Montagnana to protect the town
towards Verona and the Scaligeri Lords. Inside you wouldn’t find any
paintings or frescoes but the structure itself gives the idea and image
of safe and firmness. You may visit “Rocca degli Alberi” all year long
from the entrance to the top tower from where is possible to admire the
circle of the walls and more.
