La Famiglia Masoero ha una lunga tradizione in campo alberghiero che risale a quando gestiva l'Hotel Italia a San Damiano d'Asti. Nel 1939 Claudio Masoero sposa Alda Lano;quasi 15 anni dopo i due sposi, insieme alla madre di Alda, Anna Gallino, si trasferiscono ad Alassio e costruiscono dal nulla l'Hotel Rosa. Da allora l'impegno per renderlo sempre più accogliente, uniformandosi alle nuove esigenze in campo turistico non è venuto meno. Ancora nel 1993 sono stati costruiti garage coperto, la sala congressi e gli accessi per i disabili. "La passione per questo lavoro, racconta Alda, ci ha fatto conservare in tutti questi anni lo stesso modo di accogliere gli ospiti, sempre caldo e cordiale". Accanto a lei in albergo ha lavorato il figlio Lorenzo; oggi sono impegnate: la nuora Graziella e le nipoti Rosanna e Claudia, diplomate alla scuola alberghiera. Responsabile della cucina, il bravissimo chef Emanuele Perna, specializzato nell'armonizzare sapori liguri e piemontesi.

  The Masoero family has a long history in the hotelier trade, which dates back to when the family ran the Hotel Italia in San Damiano d'Asti. In 1939, Claudio Masoero married Alda Lano and almost 15 years later, the couple, together with Alda’s mother, Anna Gallino, moved to Alassio where they built the Hotel Rosa from nothing. From that time onwards the family has been committed to the constant improvement of the hotel’s already welcoming atmosphere, and to bringing the hotel into line with the very latest tourist requirements. In 1993 the hotel was equipped with covered garages, a conference hall, and access for disabled persons. "Our passion for this job,” Alda tells us, “has meant that we have been able to maintain the same warm and cordial welcome for our guests, even after all these years.” Alda’s son Lorenzo has also worked alongside his mother in the hotel. Today, her daughter-in-law Graziella and granddaughters Rosanna and Claudia - both with catering diplomas - all work in the hotel. The kitchens are run by the excellent chef Emanuele Perna, who are both specialists in the art of mixing the flavours of Piedmontese and Ligurian cuisine.

Seitdem setzen sie sich für eine sich ständig verbessernde Gastfreundschaft ein und passen sich den neuen Ansprüchen des Tourismusbereichs an. 1993 werden die überdachte Garage, der Kongresssaal und die behindertengerechten Zugänge errichtet. „Die Leidenschaft für diese Arbeit“, so Alda, „hat uns während dieser Jahre unsere Gäste immer auf die gleiche herzliche und respektvolle Art empfangen lassen“. An ihrer Seite hat der Sohn Lorenzo gearbeitet; heute sind die Schwiegertochter Graziella und die Enkel Rosanna und Claudia mitbeschäftigt, beide mit einem Diplom der Hotelfachschule. Verantwortlich für die Küche sind die hervorragenden Köche Emanuele Perna, die sich auf ligurische und piemontesische Gerichte spezialisiert haben.

  La famille Masoero a une longue tradition dans l'hotellerie, remontant à l'époque où elle dirigeait l'Hotel Italia à S. Damiano d'Asti. En 1939 Claude Masoero se marie avec Alda Lano, environs quinze ans après les époux Masoero avec la mêre d'Alda, Anna Gallino, se déplacent sur la Riviera Italienne à Alassio où ils construisent de font en comble l'Hotel Rosa. Ensuite ils s'emploient avec grand-coeur à le rendre toujours plus accueillant en s'adaptant aux nouvelles éxigeances touristiques de l'hotellerie. En 1993 ont étés construits le garage couvert, le salon des congrès et les accès pour personnes handicapés. "La passion pour cette profession", nous racconte Alda, "nous a fait garder pour toutes ces nombreuses années, la même façon d'accueillir les hôtes, avec autant de chaleur et cordialité du début". Auprès d'elle, dans l'hotel, le fils Lorenzo l'a aidée; la belle-fille Graziella et les petites-filles Rosanna et Claudia, toutes les deux diplomées à l'école hotelière aussis. Les résponsables de la cuisine, les éxcéllents chef Emanuele Perna, spécialisés dans l'harmonisation des parfums et des saveurs ligures e piemontais.
